Smart Gals’ Original Goodtime
SPEAKEASY
“Out With the Old”
…Spread the Word
The first Speakeasy of 2006 is right around the corner! This event also
marks the beginning of the fifth season of Speakeasies, so don’t
hesitate to join us. Local drum enthusiast John Lacques will lead us in
an elucidating though competitive game of musical chairs, followed by
a full drum circle session. All ages are welcome.
The evening’s Bookmark artist is Los Angeles-based designer and
photographer Angelica Solis.
Cookies and lemonade will be served, she said, winking…(the Librarian’s
secret cocktail just might be Jack ‘n Coke).
Password is “Out With the Old.”
Why socialize on a Sunday? Because mingling is good for your mental health.

John Lacques
John
Lacques is a drummer and actor. He facilitates drum circles as well, working
with a very diverse group of populations. He is in fact, quite familiar
with this basement as he hosts a weekly Friday night drum circle here.
John is delighted to once again be working with Christine Louise Berry
and proudly wears his Smart Gal dress. He married Tracy and they made
Ruby, and now she is one.
