Say-Goodbye-to-Summer
Stand-Up Comedy Night Curated by Sir Jerrod Cardwell
…Spread the Word
The Speakeasy is transformed into a top L.A. comedy club when comedy writer Jerrod Cardwell brings some of the best and coolest L.A. comedians to our August soiree, curated by Jerrod Cardwell and hosted by Chris Bonno of Fake Radio fame.
Jerrod Cardwell has written for everyone from George Lopez to Carrot Top to Peter Bergman of Firesign Theater and the L.A. legend Frazer Smith. He promises an evening featuring a mix of up and coming comics and veterans that you've seen everywhere from Comedy Central, to MTV to the Tonight Show.
The evening's bookmark artist is Yuriko Etue, whose focus has
been on creating public art in hospitals and schools. For the Speakeasy
bookmark, she has created a more intimate, private artwork, available
the night of the event.
As always, we will serve piping hot, organic, locally roasted, sustainably farmed coffee from the Coffee Cellar ( www.coffeecellar.com ) and, yes, there will be a secret not-too-funny cocktail.
